At Adopt-A-Family, our mission is to strengthen families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services. Since 1983, Adopt-A-Family has grown into the largest service provider for homeless families in Palm Beach County — providing access to services for more than 2,000 families with children per year.

Our mission will be implemented, but not limited to, empowerment, education, support services, advocacy and community awareness. Harmony House is fully dedicated to eliminating domestic violence and promoting self sufficiency while providing a safe and nurturing environment through mutual trust, confidence, and respect.

The Burckle Place - palm beach county
Burckle Place, located in Lake Worth, is the only supportive housing program in Palm Beach County designed exclusively for single homeless women.
It combines evidence-based supportive services with health and wellness activities to help residents rebuild their lives. The program’s structure prioritizes education and skill-building and empowers each woman to develop the confidence and means to live independently.

In the mid-1950s, a small group of community volunteers joined together to advocate for the rights and needs of people with intellectual disabilities in Palm Beach County. The volunteers -- many of them parents of children with disabilities -- envisioned the creation of local community-based programs to educate and help their children lead productive lives.

Place of hope - palm beach gardens
Place of Hope is a unique, faith-based, state-licensed children’s organization providing family-style foster care (emergency and long-term); family outreach and intervention; maternity care; safety for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking; transitional housing and support services for youth aging out of foster care; housing and support services for homeless families; foster care recruitment and support; hope and healing opportunities for children and families who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect throughout our region.

AVDA - Palm beach (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse)
AVDA has been a safe haven for thousands of victims of domestic abuse. Adults and children are provided 24-hour, 7 days a week emergency shelter, crisis counseling, food, clothing, individual and group counseling services.

C.R.O.S. Ministries
We believe that to be successful in addressing hunger, the community must come together. For 40 years, CROS has brought people of different faiths, civic groups, and members of our community to work together effectively towards the common goal of ending hunger in our county. With limited staff, we utilize the talents of more than 3,000 volunteers to operate our programs. Using volunteers keeps our costs down which allows us to be open numerous days/week. All services are provided free of charge without regard to race, religion, national origin, marital status, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
